If you visit this site, you will notice a radio at the top. This radio was built in flash utilizing Actionscript 2.0. It retrieves its playlist from an xml file generated daily via a php file.
When you are in the “Music” section, you have the choice to listen to song2 by clcking a link. Now, as this site is built using frames, the question was how to get frameA to talk to flash in frameB and have the radio play song2, while pausing the current song1, and when the song2 is finished playing, continue playing song1. With a little mix of javascript and actionscript, you can see I was successful in doing this. It took me awhile to get this to work correctly, and I will be publishing a tutorial on how to get this done shortly.
