Meta Declaration for IE8
March 20th, 2009As you may know by now, IE8 was launched on 3/19. To protect my sites and the sites of my clients from breaking with the way IE8 renders, I’m using the following meta declaration:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
This essentially tells IE8 to render the page as if its IE7. Simple. I don’t have to make any adjustments to the css.
